Description:
1968 Marlin Model 336RC, "JM"-stamped on right side of barrel near receiver. 20" barrel chambered in .30-30 Winchester. Manufactured at the original North Haven, Connecticut plant during the final year of Marlin's traditional letter-prefix system (AD), this pre-crossbolt safety carbine features a factory-drilled smooth-top receiver, and its original walnut furniture complete with trademark bullseye inlay.
The stock is in good condition, with minor handling marks. A ten-point buck is carved into the right side of the buttstock.
The receiver and barrel are in good condition, with some scratches and a small area of surface rust on the front ramp hood. The rear sight dovetail was removed to accommodate a Tasco 3-9x40 scope.
