Marlin Model 1892 – 32 Rimfire – Manufactured 1899 - C&R

Description:
SALE PENDING - The 24-inch octagon barrel shows dark blue finish with no corrosion and little sharp edge wear. The magazine tube retains better that 90% of the factory finish though it now shows a purple hue. The receiver shows a thin finish that is turning purple. The crescent butt plate has turned a satin purple. The wood shows handling marks but no cracks or damage and sits proud of the metal; a light coat of finish protectant was likely applied to the wood in the distant past. The bore is shiny with excellent rifling, however there is a slight ring in the bore. The caliber is 32 rimfire; caliber is not stamped on this firearm. Mechanically, this rifle is in excellent working order. Item is being sold as a collector with a recommendation that a competent gunsmith examine it prior to shooting. This is a very nice old Marlin 1892 in original condition. Please review the pictures to personally assess condition and contact me with questions.
