Description: ***** 8/3/2024 update - sale pending Keith J ***** ******* Dog days of summer special - Free Shipping !!! ******* Marlin Model 336RC "regular carbine" in caliber 30-30 Winchester with the desirable untapped "Waffle Top" receiver (note plug screws on left side of receiver for peep sight are factory), 20" round barrel, full magazine, plain trigger, plain walnut stocks, plain pistol grip with early lack of cap, Marlin logo butt plate with correct white line spacer, correct open sights, all metal parts blued (pre gold trigger), pre Micro Groove so has the Ballard style rifling, serial number H53120, made 1951. Original factory blue is 95% or better. Bore is mint. Stocks are sound with a few scratches and scuffs from hunting use but no other issues; butt stock retains Marlin trademark Bullseye in toe line. Action is smooth with a properly functioning half cock safety. Feeds, functions, fires as it should (was very accurate with Winchester 150 grain ammunition). No wobble to stocks or mag tube; stocks still tight and proud to metal; white line spacer slightly shrunken as typically seen of a firearm from this vintage. Beautiful, desirable configuration that will make someone an excellent collector, shooter and hunter. No international sales. Must ship to FFL or C&R license holder (recent changes in NY State law requires shipment to an FFL only if going to a NY State buyer).
