Marlin Model 336RC Caliber 35 Rem. Made 1975
Description: Marlin Model 336RC in the popular and hard-hitting 35 Remington caliber. Standard configuration of 20" round barrel with Micro Groove rifling, full magazine, hard rubber Marlin logo butt plate, plain walnut stocks, plain trigger, pistol grip with cap, white line spacers and trademark Bullseye in the butt stock, sporting rear sight with correct elevator, ramped front sight with hood intact, blued finish, gold trigger, JM marking on barrel. Receiver properly factory drilled and tapped for both a scope and peep sight. Serial number 25100110 indicates 1975 production. CONDITION: Barrel and mag tube retain 95% bright original blue. Receiver retains 75% bright original blue with the loss on the bottom at the typical carry point. Hammer has an added spur for use with a scope. Stocks are sound with no splits or cracks and normal expected wear, still tight and proud except for some wear loss at the butt plate area. Action functions crisply and retains the half cock safety. Bore is a 9.5 of 10, sharp rifling with minimal wear, bright and shiny, no pitting or rings, should shoot just fine - have a competent gunsmith check it over first as it has not been test-fired. Mag tube is tight with no wobble. A nicely-preserved Marlin in a desirable caliber and configuration that still has plenty of life left.
