Description:
24 inch round barrel chambered in 22 LR caliber with a very good bore with some light roughness and good rifling. Sights include a plain blade front and a standing v-notch rear. Barrel and full length magazine tube are a mix of original blue and gray/brown patina showing some old surface oxidation. Receiver has a similar appearance with original bright blue in the protected areas. Hammer and lever retain good traces of darkened case colors. Walnut stocks are remain in very good condition with some original varnish showing some light handling and usage mars. A repaired chip at the toe. The buttplate is a plastic reproduction. Nice smooth functioning action. The Model 1892 was made from 1892-1916 and was later renamed the Model 92 in 1905. This rifle was manufactured between late 1903-1904.
