Coast To Coast Model 40 - Semi - Auto - .22 Rifle - Manufactured by Marlin for Coast to Coast Stores . Same as the Marlin Model 99C which was the predecessor to the famous Model 60 which became one of Marlin's most successful selling rifles. Monte Carlo walnut pistol grip style stock and forend with and butt plate. 22 In. long barrel with adj. open rear sight and ramped front bead sight. Tubular magazine will accept 18 LR ammo. Bore is clean and bright. Receiver grooved for scope. Barrel and receiver are retaining 90% bluing. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. Overall condition is excellent for it's age. Manufactured from 1962 to 1978. This one was manufactured in 1973. Nice find for Store Brand collectors.
