First year production Marlin model 39 22 short,long,or long rifle.Built in 1922,this rifle retains 60% of the original cse colors,98% of the original barrel blue,and 98% of the original wood finish.It has a bright clean bore with no rust or pits.The rifle has a Unertl 6x scope installed that appears to have been on the rifle since it was new.The scope is bright and clear with thin crosshair reticle.An unusal outfit for the collector who likes to shoot.Serial number is 1541.C&R eligible.
