Model 39A 39-A .22 S/L/LR Takedown Lever Action Rifle C&R Ok. This Marlin rifle has an excellent bore with no issues. The stocks are in very fine condition and show scattered use marks as you can see. The bluing is also in very fine condition with no signs of rust. The action is tight and the rifle functions just fine. It has a Lyman 4x scope on top that appears to be just fine. Overall this 69 year old rifle is in nice condition and ready to go. The left side of the barrel is marked “The Marlin Firearms Co. – EST. 1870 / NEW HAVEN CONN. U.S.A. -------------- MODEL 39A / CAL. 22 S.L.&L.R. -------------- MICRO - GROOVE”. The lower tang is marked “K22507” and the inner left side of the receiver is marked “507”. The right side of the barrel at the rear is marked “JM” in oval proof mark. Many of our estate firearms have been stored for some time and a thorough cleaning and inspection are recommended. This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $50.
