MARLIN MODEL 1897 20” BICYCLE RIFLE CHAMBERED FOR 22 S,L, or LR

Description:
20 inch round barrel with a very good-fine bore which is bright with sharp rifling. The barrel itself is a fading original dark blue with some toning to plum with the magazine tube being plum brown, Barrel shows some sparsely scattered freckles and the expected light handling marks here or there. The frame is a mottled mix of silvery gray and plum case-hardened patina. The walnut buttstock and forearm show custom checkering with only light dings and handling marks. Sights include a white bead front sight, folding leaf rear and tang mounted aperture sight.
