Unless otherwise stated, our guns are not test fired as we have no facility for that. We inspect the firearm and it's action to see if everything appears functional but they are sold without warranty as we have no ammunition to test them with. Unless the item is listed as being sold AS-IS, there is a 3 Day Non-Shooting Inspection Period which starts when the item arrives at your dealer. No shooting, no disassembly. Visual inspection only to confirm correct item and that it matches description in major ways. Minor differences in subjective matters like percent of condition, etc, and personal opinions like ergonomics, fit to your hand or shoulder, etc, do not justify returns. Once you take the item home it is yours and no returns will be allowed. Items listed with AS-IS label are not returnable. We will not issue refunds for unknown mechanical problems. Marlin Model 1897 - 22 LR
Description: Here is a very good condition Marlin model 1897 chambered in 22 LR. This rifle has very good remaining original case colors which are very hard to photograph but are beautiful in person. The rear sight is a folding peep which I think is correct and original. The barrel mounted rear sight has either been modified or is a blank filler. The front sight is a folding daylight / lowlight with hood. The stock is in good condition with many dings and scratches fom years of use but is solid. The metal condition is very good with some areas of corrosion, some old pitting, and thinning finish. Overall this is a really nice example from around 1908 or so. FREE SHIPPING!
