Marlin Model 39-A 22 Long Rifle Lever action Take-Down Rifle. Manufacture date 1945 based on serial number of C 0041 (uppercase C) This one has a 23 inch barrel. This gun is in surprising good condition. I looks all original with the exception that the butt stock has obviously had a coat of varnish or such put on it, but it looks beautiful although a little more shiny than the fore stock. Bore looks very good and it has nice smooth action. It is missing the saw tooth rear sight elevator. Otherwise, Very nice rifle and a true collector in beautiful condition especially for it’s age. This gun will be package and shipped by my FFL to your FFL only. Shipping and packaging costs are $65.00 (set by my FFL).  I accept Postal Money orders or cashier’s checks which I will verify before shipping. Sorry to be so strict, but I have to be careful.
