Description: Excellent Marlin Model 39 rimfire rifle. Cal. 22 S, L, LR. S# S10399. Bbl. 24" tapered oct. w/ bead front sight, elevator adj. rear sight, & Marbles combination tang sight. Full length tubular mag. Blue finish w/ case colored action. Squared back lever loop. Top tang is marked "MOD. 39" & has inspector's star mark. Walnut forearm & S curved pistol grip stock w/ original hard rubber buttplate having Marlin "Bullseye" trademark in toeline. Mfg. 1922-1938. CONDITION: bbl. & mag. tube retain over 90% lightly faded blue. Action retains 50% case colors w/ areas fading to brown & showing spots of light pitting. Sound mechanics in every way, including the take down feature. Bright near excellent bore. Will make a fine collector and shooter for the Marlin enthusiast.
