Marlin Model 39 Star Marked Rifle
Description: Marlin Model 39 Star Marked Rifle. 24" octagon barrel and magazine tube retain 70 to 75% original blue. Very nice bore, I will rate it an 8.5 on a scale from 1 to 10. All markings are nice and crisp. Special Order sights are present on the rifle. Upper tang is marked with a Star which meant Marlin put extra time and effort into the rifle. Receiver has case colors in protected areas but the majority has a silvered out finish with gray / brown patina. Both forend and buttstock are in good condition. Buttstock has tiny crack at toe, buttplate is unharmed (see pic). All in all a very nice Special Marlin Model 39 at a reasonable price. Please feel free to ask questions. This firearm as with any other should be checked first by a gunsmith before any attempt is made to fire / operate it. Must ship to a FFL or Curio and Relics license holder. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
