Marlin Model 56  Levermatic - Lever Action - .22 LR Rifle - Monte Carlo pistol grip style stock and forend with butt palte. 22 In. long micro - groove barrel with adj. open rear sight and front ramped sight with new orange bead sight and cutaway hood. 10 round clip style magazine. Receiver factory drilled for scope adapter. Barrel is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90% bluing. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. Known for it's short throw for quick reloading and great accuracy. Manufactured from 1955 to 1964. This rifle has been well cared for . Rare, great addition to any collection.
