This rilfe a Marlin Model 92 22LR is in need of some TLC. The bore is rough but does show some rifling. The metal doesn't show any pitting except on the lower tang, the rest of the metal is patina with some speckles of surface rust. the wood appears to be walnut and has been refinished with lots of dings, the wood to metal fit is not the best. There are three internal parts missing, the ejector assembly, cartridge guide spring and carrier rocker. All the parts are available for purchase from a couple sources and I will be glad to furnish those names to the purchaser. The magazine tube seems to be all there, the front sight is unique in that it is a post with a flip up that is a taller post inside a ring. The rear sight is missing the elevator. The writing on the barrel is very legable. The buttplate is steel and I don't believe it is original. These rifles were made from 1892 to 1915. Please ask any questions you would like and look at all the pictures because I don't accept returns. It is the responsabilty of the buyer to have this rifle inspected by a qualified gunsmith before attempting to fire it and I make no guarantee or warranty that this rifle is functional or usable.
