A very nice Marlin Original Golden 39A complete with 24 inch JM marked micro groove barrel.  This rifle retains the original front hood and white bead front sight; the rear sight is the slide adjustable buckhorn blade.  This rifle is the pre safety variant and bears serial # 17272666.   Wood is excellent with only one or two tiny flecks of finish nicked or slightly scratched from safe storage.  There are some tiny freckles on the left side of the receiver.  Bore is perfect sharp shiny and clean.  This rifle likely has had only a box or two shot through it.  Hammer and trigger show virtually no wear at all.  We all know these rifles are scary accurate and its getting near time for Christmas shopping.
