OUTSTANDING Marlin Golden 39AS 22 caliber rifle JM-marked made 1999
Description: Great condition Marlin Golden 39AS 22 caliber rifle, shoots short, long and long rifle cartridges. 24" round barrel, open sights, fancy checkred walnut stocks, pistol grip with shotgun butt and Marlin "horse and rider" rubber butt pad, blued finish, gold trigger, take down frame, twist-style magazine tube release to load the full magazine, push button safety and rebounding hammer, factory sling swivel studs, and the famous "Marlin Bullseye" in the toe line of the butt stock. CONDITION: Barrel, mag tube and receiver retain 98% bright original blue. Take down is tight and functions properly with no wobble. Front sight is missing the hood and rear sight has been removed in favor of a Weaver V22 3-6x20 scope with Weaver rings and one-piece Weaver base. Near-mint bore. Stocks are sound with no splits or cracks, just typical light usage marks. Smooth action and properly-working push button safety. Serial number 01071494 was made in 1999 and has the "JM" marked Micro-Groove barrel. Another great American gunmaker that has gone by the wayside, so these rifles are quickly appreciating in value.
