Rare Marlin 39A with case colored receiver

Description:
Very rare Marlin model 39A with a case colored receiver.The case colored model 39A guns were only built for 2 years,1939 and 1940.After WWII all 39As were blued.This rifle is a 1940 gun and retains 80% of the original case colors,95% of the original blue and 95% of the original wood finish.The bore is excellent with no rust or pitting.The action is smooth and tight.This is an excellent example of a hard to find Marlin.C&R eligible.
