Rare Marlin JM M99 M1 22 Cal Rimfire Rifle - Excellent Condition

Description:
This is a rare Marlin Model 99 M1 semi-automatic rifle chambered in 22 LR with a 10-plus-1 round capacity. Styled to resemble the US Army M1 Carbine, this rifle has an 18-inch barrel adorned with a blade front sight and an adjustable rear sight mounted on scope grooves built into the receiver. The stock and handguard of the Model 99 M1 are made from smooth walnut, offering a nice contrast against the blued steel of the rest of this rifle.  It was manufactured from 1964 through 1978.  All rifles made before 1968 did not have serial numbers.  It is all original, and the rear sight is intact.  It is extremely rare to find one with the rear sight on it.

This is a 1964 first-year production rifle with no serial number. Both the metal and wood are in excellent condition. The wood has a couple of small compressions from handling—a grooved receiver for a scope.
