Description: Marlin Model Golden 39-A 22 caliber rimfire rifle that will shoot short, long and long rifle cartridges, 24" round barrel, full magazine, take down frame, blued finish, walnut stocks, pistol grip, shotgun butt, Marlin black plastic butt plate, black plastic grip cap, ramped front sight with hood, open rear sight, plain Golden trigger, receiver factory drilled and tapped for several types of peep sights and scope (scope mounting holes are missing the plug screws), correct white line spacers, correct factory-installed sling swivels, serial number AC8920, made in 1967. Of course the barrel is "JM" marked. CONDITION: Grades NRA Modern Fine, having just minor use marks to the stocks, no splits or cracks, no extra holes, never sanded or refinished, with some nice "extra grain" on the right side of the fore arm, mint bore, tight and fully functioning take down feature, 93% original bright factory blue on all metal surfaces, properly-functioning half cock safety, correct front sight with original hood and Marble's style full buckhorn rear sight. **NOTE broken screw in fore arm cap was carefully removed and replaced after the pictures were taken. ** Just an overall nice, early Marlin Golden 39A rifle to have fun shooting and add to your collection.
