Description: SOLDphil b- 7-9-21 - 10 day hold-THIS MARLIN 336 SC WAS MADE IN 1952 SERIAL # J2331 AND IS CHAMBERED IN 35 REMINGTON. IT IS IN VERY GOOD MECHANICAL CONDITION WITH AN EXCELLENT BORE. IT HAS A 3/4 LENGTH MAGAZINE TUBE. THE BLUEING IS WORN IN THE HIGH USE AREAS AND IS BEGINNING TO FADE OVERALL. THERE WAS SOME LIGHT RUST NEAR THE MUZZLE THAT WAS BRUSHED OUT AND COLD BLUED THAT COULD BE CLEANED UP BETTER. THE FOREND CAP RETAINING SCREW ON THE RIGHT SIDE IS A REPLACEMENT THAT IS TIGHT BUT COULD BE FITTED BETTER. THE RECEIVER IS THE WAVY GROOVE STYLE AND THE BARREL IS JM MARKED.
