The satin stainless finish and weather-resistant laminate stock make this rifle exceptionally well suited for harsh hunting environments where rain, snow, mud, and fluctuating temperatures can challenge traditional blued firearms. Deep-cut diamond checkering provides a secure purchase with gloved or wet hands, while the factory recoil pad helps tame the substantial recoil generated by the .450 Marlin. The receiver comes factory drilled and tapped, allowing easy installation of optics without sacrificing the rugged factory iron sights.

Launching heavy 325 and 350-grain bullets with crushing energy, the .450 Marlin has earned a reputation as one of the hardest-hitting factory lever-action cartridges ever produced. The 24-inch barrel wrings every bit of velocity from the cartridge while softening muzzle blast compared to shorter guide guns, giving hunters maximum performance in the field.
