Description: Serial #U1362, .22 S, L, LR, 24 inch Micro-Groove barrel with a bright, excellent bore marked with the "JM" stamp. This is the "Golden" Model 39-A lever action rifle manufactured in 1961 featuring the "gold" trigger. In excellent condition the barrel, frame, magazine tube, lever and hammer retain virtually all, 98-99% of the original blue and matte finishes with only a few tiny handling marks and freckles. The oil finished walnut stock and forearm are likewise excellent. It is sighted with a hooded front brass bead and adjustable rear sight. An excellent example of an early 1960's "Golden Marlin".
