Description: Near new Marlin Model 336, serial number 69 57489, made in 1969, in the desirable 35 Remington caliber, with standard 336 features of the period of manufacture: 20" round barrel, full magazine, pistol grip, walnut stocks, white line spacers, gold trigger, "JM" marked barrel, blued finish, ramped/hooded front sight, open rear sight, top of receiver factory drilled and tapped for scope, left side of receiver drilled and tapped for peep sight, MicroGroove barrel, black Marlin plastic butt plate. CONDITION: Near new, bluing at 98% with only a couple of light marks, stocks just about perfect, Nikon Prostaff P3 3-9x40 scope with BDC reticle installed on Weaver style one-piece base and rings, swivels added to butt stock and fore end band, classic Marlin Bullseye intact in toe line of butt, no wear to the gold trigger. Mint bright shiny bore. Hammer extension added for access under scope. Butter-smooth action with properly working half cock safety.
