D2D has completed over 36,000 offerings during the past 25 years of business! We offer you a “Pre-Safety” JM Marked Marlin Firearms Co. Model 336 30-30 Winchester Lever Rifle Manufacture in 1975. This JM marked Marlin model 336 was a project rifle that was never finished. The magazine tube has a cleaned off rust spot at the end as shown. It was the intent of the owner to refinish the stocks and have the tube reblued. However, that was never completed and in that quest the magazine tube follower, spring, tube plug and tube plug screw has been lost. Both stocks have been sanded and are in fine condition with an oil finish. The bluing on the barrel shows marks and small dings from use. The receiver finish is also in fine condition with some thinning on the edges from carry. The bore is excellent with no issues. The gun functions just fine, it just needs the parts mentioned above replaced. The left side of the barrel is marked “THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO. NORTH HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. / EST. 1870-MICRO-GROOVE BARREL – MOD.336 CAL 30-30 WIN.”. The left side of the barrel at the receiver is marked with the circled “JM” proof. The upper tang is marked with the serial number “25006940”. $475 This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $60. No outbound sales tax is collected.
