Description:
The Marlin Model 336SC is a sporting carbine version of the long-running Marlin Model 336 lever-action rifle, produced from 1949 to 1963 in the SC (Sporting Carbine) designation, It was essentially a .30-30 Winchester-chambered version of the 336A, but with a 20-inch barrel for improved scopeability. This particular example dates from 1952. It's in pretty good shape overall. The deeply-figured deluxe walnut has very little wear and the blue finish has only some small patches of light pitting and some light surface rust on the lever. The action is smooth and the bore is bright. .30-30 Winchester
