Marlin ~ Model 1894 Octagon

This is an uncommon find, indeed. Not only is it a limited run rifle made in 1972 (less than 3000 were shipped in total) it has some beautiful carvings on the wood. It also has the "JM" proofmark on the barrel by the receiver, so you know that it's a pre-Remington rifle. We don't think you'll find another one like it. It does show some wear and tear, this was not a safe queen, but the photos tell the story there. The action is smooth and the bore is bright. No box or case is included. .44 Remington Magnum
