For Sale: Used Marlin 1894 CSBL in .357 Magnum with Factory XS Lever Rail
Up for sale is a solid Marlin 1894CSBL chambered in versatile .357 Magnum (also shoots .38 Special). This is the stainless steel "CSBL" variant with the big-loop lever, gray/black laminate stock, and the highly desirable XS Sights Lever Rail already installed on the receiver for easy optic mounting.
Key Features & Specs:

Caliber: .357 Magnum / .38 Special
Barrel: 16.5" stainless steel (short, handy carbine length – great for brush, truck gun, or home defense)
Action: Smooth lever-action with oversized big-loop lever (perfect for gloves or fast handling)
Stock: Gray/black laminate pistol-grip stock
Sights: Factory XS ghost ring rear sight + post front, plus the full XS Lever Rail (Picatinny-style rail) for mounting scopes, red dots, or scout optics with flexible eye relief
Magazine: Tubular (approximately 6-8 rounds depending on ammo length)
Overall length: ~35"
Weight: Approximately 6.5 lbs
Stainless steel receiver and barrel for excellent corrosion resistance

This rifle is a blast to shoot with both .38 Special plinking loads and full-power .357 Magnum hunting/defense ammunition. The short barrel delivers excellent velocity in a compact, maneuverable package.

Excellent bore – bright, shiny, and clean with strong, sharp rifling. No pitting or excessive wear.
Mechanics: Functions 100% – smooth action, solid lockup, reliable feeding and ejection.
Cosmetics: Minor cosmetic wear only. Light handling marks/scratches on the laminate stock and a few small scuffs on the stainless finish from normal use. Nothing structural, no dents, no cracks, and no heavy wear. Overall presents very well and is ready for the range or woods.

This is a great shooter that has been well cared for mechanically. The XS Lever Rail is a premium upgrade that significantly increases the rifle’s versatility.
