Marlin 1892, 22 Deluxe, Factory Engraved, Strong Case Color. 24" Octagon barrel. Nice bore - strong rifling. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best, I would give this bore an 8. Original bluing on barrel and magazine tube in nice condition with bluing loss on sharp edges. Strong case color remaining on left side of receiver, much less on right side. Nice case color remaining on hammer. All screws are clean and show very little sign of screwdriver use. Beautifully figured wood on both butt stock and forearm. Wood to metal fit is as it left the factory. Very small chip on buttstock where stock meets receiver on right side at top. Repaired crack at toe of buttstock. Repair is solid and hard to see. This rifle would make an excellent addition to any Marlin collection.
