Marlin 1893 Mod B .38-55 Octagon Blk Pwd

Description:
This Marlin 1893 is a blackpowder rifle chambered in .38-55 Winchester. It has a 26" octagon barrel. Date of manufacturer of this rifle wood appear to be approximately 1907, just after the definitive records being kept.

The rifle's furniture is in nice condition. There is one abrasion approximately 1 inch long on the left side of buttstock that does break the surface of the wood. 

This Marlin has a case-colored lever. The bluing is in nice condition with some bluing loss on the receiver and octagon edges due to handling. There is a small dent on the magazine tube near the muzzle that is smaller than a .22LR projectile. 

The bore on this rifle is very clean with very nice distinct rifling. Much better than average for black powder rifle.

• Additional fees may be added for long guns with exceptional dimensions and/or weight.
