Marlin 1894 Short Rifle, .44 WCF (.44-40)

Description:
This rifle shows wonderful color case hues on receiver, "Fish hook" rear sight and very good wood-to-metal fit. About 80 years old, it shows lots of handling and compression marks.

Manufacturer: Produced from 1894-1934. Late production Short Rifle
Caliber Info: .44 Winchester Center Fire (.44-40)
Metal Condition: Color case hardening is very strong, fired blued bolt is excellent, Barrel and magazine tube retain a lot of original bluing. Screws show some handling
Wood Condition: Original finish with lots of handling marks and compression marks.
Bore Condition: Good with sharp rifling
Barrels: 20" Barrel
Stock: Long tang straight grip walnut
Stock Dimensions:
13 1/4" LOP
Fore End: Walnut with cap
Butt Pad: S" shaped steel butt
Weight: 6 lbs 6 ozs
Sights: Adjustable rear with "fish hook" elevator, original brass front blade
