Description: Like new Marlin 1895 Cowboy in 45-70 Gov The Marlin 1895 is the tried-and-true configuration of the famous 45-70 Gov’t rifle. When you’re ready to hit the trail reach for this open range legend. True to its heritage with an American black walnut stock and a 26” tapered octagon barrel, and built with a precision-tuned receiver. Includes Ballard-style rifling and is chambered for 45-70 Gov’t. The offset hammer spur is provided along with a mounting wrench to ensure the best hammer control possible when an optic is mounted on a lever action receiver as there may not be enough space between the optic and the hammer to adequately place a thumb on and control the hammer.
