Marlin 1895 Lever Action Rifle Chambered in .45-70
Description:
Humorously recommended as the "T-REX" gun, from it's appearance in the Jurassic Park movies, which made the 1895 .45-70 and instant legend, its original origin dates back much farther than that.
The Marlin Model 1895 has a rich history, originally introduced in 1895 as a lever-action rifle based on the 1893 action, designed to handle larger cartridges like the .45-70 and .45-90. With its original production
run ending in 1917, it had a long hiatus from the "American Lever Action" rifle scene; 55 years to be exact! Then, in 1972, Marlin reintroduced the now infamous rifle with several variants of the 1895 made to cater to the different needs of the cowboy or hunter using it. The most common, the venerable .45-70.
With a robust action, rock-solid dependability, quick handling and time-honored styling this IS the perfect rifle for big game, (including your T-Rex)!
And best of all its available for you today, in this beautiful American Walnut and Stainless Steel version. If you prefer the Trapper version, in grey and satin stainless, I have 2 available now, please call for pricing.
