Marlin 336 35 Rem Rifle Made 1964
Description: ********* 7/5/2024 sale pending to Kevin A. in NY *********** Desirable Marlin 336 rifle in caliber 35 Remington with JM marked barrel. Standard features include 20" round barrel with ramped front sight (hood missing), full magazine, plain walnut stocks, plain pistol grip, gold trigger, white spacers between Marlin logo butt plate and stock as well as grip cap and grip, trademark Marlin Bullseye in toe line of butt stock, blued finish, side eject, top of receiver factory drilled and tapped for scope, left side of receiver factory drilled and tapped for peep sight. JM hammer extension installed. Sling and swivels added. Serial number Y40786 was made in 1964. Barrel and mag exhibit 75% original bright blue. Receiver 85% original bright blue. Smooth action with properly working half cock safety. Excellent stocks showing only minor use and retain all the original varnish. Bore is a 9 of 10. Shows evidence of having scope mounted at one time (light wear to top of receiver). White spacer in between butt stock and butt plate shrunken with age. Nice looking classic 336 in a hard-hitting caliber to take into the woods this fall. No international sales. Must ship to FFL or C&R license (recent changes in NY State law requires shipment to an FFL only if going to a NY State buyer).
