Marlin 336 RC... this gun appears to be made in 1964. The 336 marauder carbine has a 16 1/4 inch barrel with only 5856 being manufactured over these two years 1963 and 1964. This Gun has been shot and carried, but shows very little wear. The bluing is in excellent condition and the stock is in very good condition. The forearm is in very good condition. With the exception of where the barrel band is. Please look at the photo. The swivel stud is missing and in front of the hole on the barrel band, the wood has a little splinter. The white spacer between the wood and the butt plate has deteriorated, but is partially there.
These guns are very, very rare and highly sought after especially in the kind of condition that this gun is in.
