This (JM) Marlin was built in 1999. It is the 336W featuring a walnut-stained birch stock, and cross bolt safety. There are a couple after-market add-ons to this one with the fiberoptic rear sight, and the rubber pad. Deer season is coming soon and this would make a really nice deer gun for the new hunter. Mechanically, it is in great shape, but there are just enough cosmetic scars that another won't make much difference. .30-30 Winchester

Wood Condition: "Good. There are some flattened checkering diamonds, and a scratch.
Bore Condition: Shiny and bright with good Micro Groove rifling.
