Description:
The Marlin 39-A is a continuation of the Marlin 1891 made famous by Annie Oakley. They are known for their accuracy, even legendary. This one is in great 'shooter' condition with good bore, clean metal, and nice wood. Do your part, and make your own legend. This one appears to have been built in 1947, before microgroove rifling was added. .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle

Chambers: Up to 26 rounds
Metal Condition: Good. The blue is quite nice but there is a little pitting at the muzzle end of the barrel where fingers would leave sweat when the magazine tube was unlocked.
Wood Condition: Good. There are a few handling marks and the "Bullseye" is missing.
Bore Condition: Shiny and bright with good rifling. Note: Not Microgroove.
Barrels: 24 inches
Triggers: Factory trigger

Fore End: Matching walnut.
