Hello, for your consideration we have a Marlin Model 1888 Standard Rifle in 32-20 in Excellent Condition.
This is a scarce Model 1888 Marlin Rifle with the top-eject action. Marlin manufactured (1888-1890) just 4,800 of these before adopting the Model 1889 rifle with the side-eject bolt and frame. Both the 1888 and 1889 models were designed by L.L. Hepburn of Colton, NY, who previously worked for Remington Arms. Model 1888 rifles don't turn up very often and seldom in such nice condition, such as this one.
This one has a standard 24" octagon barrel with full magazine and crescent buttplate in caliber 32-20.
Other than a light blemish on the bluing, on the right side of the receiver, that is the only obvious flaw on the gun, the rest is in excellent condition. *See photos for details*
The wood is in Fine+ to Excellent Condition.... still a light orange-red in huge and still retaining the original varnish.
Additional photos can be taken and sent, if needed. Shipping is included in the price. We can ship via UPS or FedEx.
A nice hardcase will be included with this gun to protect it during shipping.
We can ship to California, but you need to confirm the gun is legal where you are, California or other.
Email me with any questions that you may have. Thank you!!
