Description:
These model 1889 Marlins are not easy to find. This rifle in .38-40 is an original octagon barrelled full magazine rifle. Stock & forend original but have been painted black. Not much finish remaining but rifle has a shootable bore even though there is pitting with a bit of wash. Sights are in excellent condition. Rifle would benefit from a refinish, and is priced accordingly. This is a pre 1899 antique and requires no ffl or c&r transfer - may be shipped directly with proof of age.
