Marlin Model 1893 Take Down Rifle Octagon Barrel 30-30
Description: DESCRIPTION: Marlin Model 1893 rifle in caliber 30-30 with 26" octagon barrel, full magazine, take down, "S" curved butt plate, barrel marked with correct patent dates/address and "Special Smokeless Steel," correct Marlin rear sight with fish hook elevator and Knife Blade front sight. Walnut stocks. Blued and case hardened finish. Serial # 410311, made approximately 1909. CONDITION: Barrel and mag retain 75% bright original blue starting to tone to plum. Take down feature is tight and bore is very good with well-defined rifling. Stocks are sound with no splits or cracks, never sanded or refinished, no extra holes, exhibiting some finish loss due to carry and typical nicks/dings/scratches from use. Receiver retains about 20% bright original case colors with the balance toning to silver. Serial number matches on bottom of receiver, upper inletting of butt stock, and on left side of upper tang. Grades very good and will make a nice addition to your collection. TERMS: No international sales. Must ship to FFL or C&R license (sales within NY State require FFL ONLY). 3-day non-firing inspection. Buyer pays return shipping. Payment by bank check, money order or personal check.
