Marlin Model 1894 Rifle .38-40 WCF - 28" Barrel
Description: For sale we have a Marlin model 1894 lever action rifle in .38-40 WCF. This rifle features a straight grip walnut stock with steel buttplate, steel receiver with traces of original case coloring on frame and lever. blued bolt, and 28" blued octagon barrel with full length magazine tube, semi-buckhorn rear sight and blade front sight. Serial number is 412451, post-1900 and after the available factory records, which end around 1906. Manufacture date would likely approximate 1910-1915. Gun has 6 notches cut into the forend just behind the forend metal. It has two holes drilled in the top of the receiver with filler screws. Overall condition is very good for the vintage with smooth action and a lightly frosted bore with strong rifling. C&R eligible. Yes, we will accept firearms on trade. Email us for details.
