Marlin Model 1936 .32 SPL Stk #A302

Description:
This is an original Marlin Model 1936 chambered for .32 special.  It has a 19-½” round barrel tapering from ?” at the receiver to ?” at the muzzle. The blued finish is in fair condition with no pitting, but has worn along the sides and near the receiver. The finish on the tubular magazine has worn and patinated. The bore is in good condition, having no corrosion and sharp rifling. This rifle has a fixed front sight and a rear sight with elevation adjustments. The barrel is marked “Special Smokeless Steel” on the left side by the rear sight. The side ejecting receiver is in similar condition. There are no major scratches or dents and it is developing a patina. The screws show usage marks but are still in working condition. “Marlin Safety” in engraved on the top of the receiver. The walnut forend and pistol grip buttstock are in fair condition. There are small dents and scratches scattered on the buttstock and a series of dents on the right side of the wrist. The forend also has some small dents but the finish is undisturbed.  Length of pull is 13-½”, overall length is 38-¼”, and weight is 6.2 lbs. Our stock number is #A302.
