Marlin Model Golden 39A Rifle, Pre Push Button Safety, Cal. .22 LR. 1962 Vintage


Description:
Marlin Golden 39A Rifle fitted with a 24 inch round barrel, full length tube magazine, gold trigger, oil finished walnut forearm with sling swivel fitted to forend cap, oil finished walnut pistol grip stock fitted with white-line black plastic grip cap, white-line checkered black Marlin butt-plate, Marlin target inset to bottom of the stock, & sling swivel, is blue finished, and chambered in .22 LR.  This 1962 vintage Golden 39A is in excellent/near new condition, retaining 98%+ original blue, with most loss on the sides of the hammer and trigger and a few very minor handling marks.  The stock and forearm are in like new condition, with only a couple of very minor pressure dings on the right side of the forearm.  The micro-groove rifled bore is as new and the action functions the same.  Sorry, no box or paper-work.    Nice example of an early Golden 39A.
