NICE CONDITION Marlin 336 30-30 JM-marked Carbine Made 1977
Description: Marlin Model 336 carbine, caliber 30-30 Winchester, serial number 23124063, made 1977, JM barrel, no push button safety, gold trigger, blued finish, walnut stocks, lever action with tubular magazine, solid top factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting, hooded/ramped front sight and semi-buckhorn rear sight, ready for the range and deer woods. CONDITION: Receiver shows 85% bright original blue with some pinprick spotting very light on the surface, 95% bright original barrel and mag tube blue with a few tiny spots of surface oxidation - no deep pitting on any surfaces. Very nice Boyd walnut stocks. Original front and rear sights with original front sight hood intact. Butt plate is plastic. Tight action with properly working half cock safety. Top of receiver shows evidence of prior scope mounting and the factory holes are lacking the plug screws. Micro-groove barrel has bright shiny rifling with no issues. Grades NRA Modern Fine and is a great collector as well as hunter/shooter to add to your firearms cache.
