This rifle is all matching down to the trigger guard screws, every number I can locate is matching (776 C)! Such as the buttplate, front sight blade, bayonet stud, et cetera. This rifle has a very scarce early production 1938 dated S/243 code (Mauser Borsigwalde). The cartouches on the walnut stock are very clear and crisp. The blue on the metal shows use during the war, and the bore still has strong rifling. Mauser Borsigwalde was the Second Mauser Plant and was located in a suburb of Berlin. Buyer is responsible for shipping & insurance costs, if more details/photos are wanted, please advise and THANKS for looking.
