WWI German Erfurt KAR98 AZ 1916 8mm Mauser Rifle All Matching With Original Sling


Description:
All numbers are matching throughout. Retains 65% original finish overall. All markings are clear. Dated 1916 on top of the receiver. Fine bore with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Wood stock has some light dings and handling marks, markings are clear. Has A.S. neatly carved into the left side of the butt. Even has the original leather sling which is solid but has some minor flaking. No import marks. This is a straight original gun that was most likely brought back from WWI by a US Doughboy. NOT duffle cut. There are no flies on this one. It's difficult to find WWI Karabiner 98AZ carbines in complete and unmolested condition such as this one. Serial number is 9308c

We do not put any ammo in it or disassemble to check internal parts. We will sometimes take off barrels or stocks in an attempt to prevent damage in shipping. We only sell used guns, and have no way to know how many rounds have been through them.  WE DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY. ALL FIREARMS, REGARDLESS OF AGE OR FEDERAL ANTIQUE STATUS have to be shipped to a dealer for transfer within NY. Other states are fine, depending on your state laws. We will not ship to a New York, NJ, or CA C&R holder, a standard FFL is required.  There are some states in which a C&R handgun MUST be shipped to a dealer, such as MD. Please know your local laws.
