Ernie Atkinson of Astoria, OR full custom .404 Jeffery built on a Single Square Bridge true magnum length Oberndorf Mauser action with a neat adjustible bolt cocking piece peep sight. Wisner drop box magazine with extended straddle floorplate that holds five down. 27 1/2" barrel with banded ramp front sight, banded sling swivel, and island express rear sight with one standing and three folding leaves. Stocked in the English style in very nicely figured Turkish Walnut with beaded pancake cheekpiece, double crossbolts, and ebony forend tip. Two screw inletted rear sling swivel stud and point pattern checkering with mullered border. 13 3/4" LOP to a London Guns red pad with widow's peak. This is a 9lb dead even open sight gun with all the bells and whistles in very nice overall condition with a few minor stock dings. It is done in the vintage style reminiscent of the Type A Mauser. It is built tough and ready to go the distance.
