This is an interesting Mauser Sporter Bolt Action rifle in 8MM Mauser.The collector value is gone, but a nice conversion at the time. The blued barrel and receiver frame are good, with various engraving done on the receiver and floorplate. The blued 24" barrel is very good with sharp crisp rifling in its bore. The conversion non factory blued curved double set triggers are rare and different. The rifle can be fired with one or with both triggers, which are firm, then light on release. The non factory dark walnut stock is good with various dents and dings. It is difficult to know whether this is the original stock remodeled or just an after market replacement, with the semi Monte Carlo cheek piece. An interesting Mause rifle that is a shooter for sure.
