Mauser Werke Model 3000, .30-06 Springfield, Bolt-Action Hunting Rifle
Description: Mauser Werke Model 3000, .30-06 Springfield, bolt-action, hunting rifle with a 22-inch factory drilled and tapped barrel, a Leupold mount and 3x9 Vari-X II scope, and an American walnut Monte Carlo style stock. The gun was manufactured in Oberndorf, Germany (FRG) between 1971 and 1974. At 95+ percent overall, this rifle is in excellent condition. The walnut stock has numerous light scratches, small nicks, and two or three very small dents (less than the size of a BB). There is chipping (2 - 2½ two inches) along the Monte Carlo edge. There is some very small chipping on the edge of the cut for the bolt. There is some scratching on the underside of the forend of the stock, about 1½ inches behind the front sling swivel. The checkering on the pistol grip and the forend of the stock is crisp and shows no mars or other wear. The bright blue barrel and receiver are in similar condition with no marks or signs of wear, except for a light 1-inch rub on the right side of the barrel about five inches behind the muzzle. The rubber Pachmayr recoil pad is supple with not cracks or hardening. I will be glad to send photos of any parts of the gun you wish to see. There is no box, accessories, or owner’s manual. The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details. Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better. The buyer pays $50 for USPS Priority mail and $15.95 for insurance. Virginia buyers must pay 5.3% sales tax. The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money orders, as they are like cash. I will ship the revolver immediately upon receipt of a USPS money order and an FFL. I will also accept a personal check or other type money, as well as bank checks and cashier's checks, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; this includes bank checks and cashier’s checks. I do not accept credit cards, debit cards, or PayPal. Check or money order must be made out to Jerry Pownall, NOT Barboursville Arms. If you wish to contact me, please "Email Seller". I will answer your questions, explain the purchase / transfer process, and provide my mailing address. I am available any time, except Friday evenings and Saturdays. I will return emails Saturday evening. SOLD |
