SOLD !! PRICE REDUCED - A clean original collectable classic 8mm Mauser sporter light wt ‘mountain gun.’. It obviously had optics as the claw mts are present. It has the classic iconic half round – half octagon barrel with raised matted flat. Hardly any case on receiver- just traces. Trigger guard and floor plate and bullet trap are lightly engraved.. Grip cap and butt plate are horn. Butt is meticulously hand checkered. Bore is fine as you would expect. Set triggers work perfectly. The barrel bore the names of "P OBERHAMMER HOFLEFERANT MUNCHEN" Fine multi point checkering on grip and forend. Virtually no handling marks. No signs of damage repair or even wood refinish AND there is one final feature I have not personally seen before. It has an adjustable hidden long range tang dight that fits so perfectly into the rear tang that I almost missed it when i bought it . Unique-. Impressive!
